Goals and challenges

Each artist had a unique stage presence and style, so every show required finding the right angle. I also aimed to capture the venue and audience to show the full concert experience. In later years, photography was limited to the first three songs of each set, which pushed me to be both creative and efficient in getting the shots I needed.
